What is a Team?

What constitutes a team?

A group of individuals (human or animal…) working together with a common objective. Usually interdependent in terms of information, resources, skills and knowledge.

Teams normally have members with complementary skills and generate synergy through a coordinated effort which allows each member to maximise their strengths and minimise their weaknesses.

A group on the other hand, does not necessarily constitute a team.

Team members need to learn how to help one another, help other team members realise their true potential, and create an environment that allows everyone to go beyond their limitations.

If you would like to improve the wellbeing and performance of any of the teams in your workplace, please reach out. Let’s have a chat and explore how we can help you, regardless of the size of the team/s or the organisation.

We offer assessments, team coaching, individual coaching, leadership development as well as bespoke programmes where appropriate.

Our flagship Team Dynamics workshops explore the team’s values, priorities and together we establish a solid foundation for trusted engagement between all your people to bring out the best of their skills and knowledge for the greater good. It is a win : win – for the employees, the team, the customers, the leadership and the bottom line
